Recently, the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held in Beijing. This will expedite the construction of our country’s land-sea bidirectional-open corridor, which is advantageous for Guizhou’s Soy Sauce Baijiu in executing their Yangtze River Economic Belt strategy.

The Yangtze River Economic Belt starts from Yunnan in the west and ends in Shanghai in the east. It covers the provinces of Yunnan, Guizhou, Chongqing, Sichuan, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangsu, and Shanghai. With a total area of 2.05 million square kilometers, it accounts for over 40% of the country’s population and GDP. The economic belt extends along the coast, the Yangtze River, and the border, connecting the Pacific Ocean in the east and radiating to Oceania, Europe, and the Americas. It also extends westward through the Mekong River to connect with the Indian Ocean, and through the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, it spans across the Asia-Pacific region and radiates to Africa. The economic belt has witnessed improved connectivity through the integration of infrastructure, customs clearance, and inspection and quarantine processes. This includes the establishment of open ports for railways and inland ports, as well as the consolidation of customs supervision areas along the Yangtze River into comprehensive bonded zones.
